“Our community believes that every individual has the right to a life enriched through sustainable and meaningful education, employment and training. The quality of this provision is enhanced by the community taking responsibility for the growth and expanding the opportunities available to its young people.” (FMPLLEN Founding members 2000)
Frankston Mornington Peninsula Local Learning and Employment Network Inc is a School Business Community Partnership Broker and an association of over 400 local individuals and organisations planning and working together to improve the access of young people to education, training and employment.
We want every young person to complete Year 12 or an equivalent program such as an apprenticeship, traineeship or other training program to give them their best chance of long term success in community and working life.
To achieve this aim, FMPLLEN is a partner in the Southern Youth Commitment:
The School Business Community Partnership Brokers program in Victoria is delivered through the Local Learning and Employment Network initiative funded by the Australian and Victorian Governments under the National Partnership on Youth Attainment and Transitions, a joint initiative of the Australian and State and Territory Governments
