School to Work Forum Mornington Peninsula

Schools, local Industry, employers, TAFE and Local Council came together for a breakfast forum at Stillwater at Crittenden.

The focus of the event was to discuss the importance of strengthening our local workforce for the sustained growth of our regional industries. However, the challenge is how can employers attract young talent, especially when local employment opportunities may not be on their radar after graduation?

Featuring a dynamic panel discussion with school leaders, students, TAFE representatives, and local employers, this forum served as a platform to explore strategies for engaging and retaining young talent within the local workforce.

Including Q&A and networking opportunities, this unique gathering facilitated dialogue and collaboration between schools and employers to highlight the benefits of, and opportunities for, young people to work within the Mornington Peninsula community.
